Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
At Dirac Education, we aim to provide a high-quality and reliable service for all students. To ensure fairness to both students and tutors, the following cancellation policy applies to all 1-to-1 sessions:
1. Notice Period
- Students may cancel or reschedule a session free of charge if at least 24 hours’ notice is provided prior to the scheduled start time.
- Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the session will incur a 100% charge of the session fee.
2. How to Cancel or Reschedule
- All cancellations or changes must be made via email or WhatsApp.
- The time of notice will be based on when the message is received.
3. Late Arrival & Non-Attendance
- If a student arrives late, the session will still end at the scheduled time and the full fee remains payable.
- Failure to attend a scheduled session without notice will be treated as a late cancellation and charged in full.
4. Exceptional Circumstances
- We understand that emergencies can occur. In exceptional circumstances (e.g. serious illness), we may offer discretion at our sole discretion. Supporting evidence may be requested.
5. Tutor Cancellations
- If a tutor needs to cancel or reschedule a session, we will:
- Provide as much notice as possible
- Offer a suitable alternative time or replacement tutor
- Ensure no charge is applied to the student
6. Prepaid Sessions & Packages
- Where sessions are prepaid, late cancellations or non-attendance will result in the session being deducted from the package.
- Sessions are non-transferable and non-refundable, except where required by law.
7. Repeated Cancellations
- Repeated short-notice cancellations may result in:
- Requirement for advance payment for future bookings
- Limited availability or refusal of further bookings
8. Policy Agreement
- By booking a session with Dirac Education, you agree to this cancellation policy.
